With 1700 years of background history, seven continents, and over 20 playable races, Wealdendun is a complete fantasy world RPG experience. Unlike other worlds, where the excitement was in the past, even 'today' Wealdendun battles evil and fights for the future. With magic, swords, and shields the world of Wealdendun comes alive with elves, dragons, mortals, faeries, wolven changelings and more. Unlike other worlds, dragons do not just breathe fire - some control decay, ice, or healing among others. And unlike other stories, faeries are not small but are a cross between elf and dragon. One of the last remaining Ieldran, the twelve elves granted powers no others have, Natulcien works to save Wealdendun from the forces of Genipan, another Ieldran once thought dead. Those of the light and those of the dark continually battle as this story continues through the site's members and their interactions.

Scavenger Hunt
The Queen of the Elves has opened a friendly competition for all of Wealdendun. She has scattered items around the globe, and it is up to you to find them. It is a race against your friends, and your foes, to find the most hidden items. The one who finds the most will receive a special banner to carry with them for the month. (In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker will begin)
A small book briefly outlines what is required to win: A series of clues shall be listed that one must decipher in order to find the hidden item. Search the continent, country, city, or RP page that you think the clue is directing you to. The item's image will be somewhere on the correct page. Once one clue has been solved, and the link to the location of the item posted here by the hunter, another clue will be given. Solve the riddle, find the item, and claim your hunter-count. The one with the most hunter points will receive the prize and be eligible for the monthly Quest award.
The Item: An old coin
The riddle: Look in the mirror - see none other than faithful Elid. Not King, not Queen - frosted jewel of earth.
The Fallen Star, the Silent Voice Hardened by ages of misfortune and grief She is Afeal'an, and Maše'salné Bound to the sea, cast from the sky She has come back,oh Ordforans;that is her choice
At the very top of the page! Nat, I will admit it was a very tricky riddle to figure out.
It was talking about the first sun, and how the city is said to "mirror" Elid, which acts like ours does the yellow-ish sun.
Then she was talking about how it wasn't ruled by King or Queen, but it is ruled by a Prince an elvish Prince, and the "frosted jewel of the earth" is the gemstone of peace that was given to them to represent peace and unity.

Correct, Alomir! I know the first riddle was a tough one, but I am glad you see you were able to use the key points to track it down! Way to go.
Current Hunter Points: Alomir: 1
Same Item Next Riddle: I watch the suns descend, their reflections dancing over clouded glass. They disappear, deep, deep, like a star into an endless shadow. And I am overcome with grief, as the sky is grieving, and we grieve for lost perfection. If you can see me here, may you find the old coin to take with you when you leave.

Great job again, Alomir! However, the riddle wasn't supposed to lead you to Genipan, per se. Part of the riddle was directions - the suns descending over water would be a coast - a fallen star into water would be where I first came to Wealdendun. The sky grieving would be rain. And it forever rains on the Dimmand.

How can I be afraid of those vanished hands, laid on me in love How could I be afraid of those that molded my flesh leaving the remnant to live long past the grave?

I was in the shower and I randomly thought about the riddle and was like Wolven Changeling. It was in MY post. And it was a game I introduced to the site, I should have seen it sooner.

Heheh, correct again. I thought I might stump you, but it looks like it only took a bit of water splashed on your face before the answer was revealed. I really need to look into making these more difficult!
Current Hunter Points: Alomir: 4 Malluni: 1
Next Riddle: Travel south - five steps no further - then dig, dig, dig. On the top it will lay, first of its brothers. Follow the points of the star. Are you able to read your treasure map?
